About Me

Hi! I'm Gabrielle. I’m a Licensed Associate Professional therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I’ve got a solid background in psychology and neuroscience and a skill for understanding how our past experiences affects our present feelings and behaviors. My passion is helping people discover their own strengths to help themselves in their journey.

My ideal client is someone who is struggling with defining themselves,  processing childhood trauma and abuse, religious trauma, relationships, negative behaviors and addictions, and wanting to learn to be themselves in a changing world.  I am a secular therapist, which means I do not and cannot provide faith based services, though I fully respect any faith brought to session.

I have an eclectic approach, I use what modality is best for the client, and resonates most with them. This looks like psychodynamic, CBT,  DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused. Therapy with me looks like a back and forth conversation, I will respond to what you say with questions, insights, and sometimes things that you may simply need to hear.

Mulberry Mental Health is proud to be a safe space for progressive minds,  members of the LGBTQIA community, as well as being well versed and accepting of non-traditional relationships such as polyamory or kink based structures.

Mental Health should be more accessible, so my rates are usually about 25% lower than most, at $80-100/session versus the industry standard of $125-$150. I also work with Open Path Collective as a therapist to provide therapy for those making less than $100K/year with guaranteed contracted sessions between $40-70.

I work with self-pay and sliding scale  clients through Rivendell Counselors, and I am also able  to provide insurance based services to those with Aetna, Cigna or United Health Insurance plans via Waypoint Atlanta.  Insurance based services are telehealth only.

I have obtained degrees in Psychology (study of human behavior), Neuroscience (Study of the human brain), Sociology (Study of human society), and Anthropology (Study of human culture through history), plus a master’s in Clinical Mental Health. This helps me take a well-rounded approach, considering everything from culture and nutrition to brain structure and relationships.  If I sound like the therapist for you, check out the Appointment Request form on the Contact Me page, and I'll be happy to work with you if I have the availability.
